I'm Back !!!!

Had a lovely vacation in England and Scotland, well it was more like a route march lol. So many family and friends to see and not enough time. I have missed my crafting but did manage a visit to a few craft stores ssshhhh, don't tell hubby.
I did try to schedule some posts but that didn't happen so here are 2 cards I should have shown last week. This image is from Beccy'sPlace, called Spunky with flowers. The first card I made was just the flowers printed onto parchment and perforated out to form a 3D bunch. I coloured with pencils and lightly embossed the petals. The border was done on a PCA grid and the centre oval on a Pergamano Multi Grid #20. I dotted some pearls around the borders and also in the centres of the flowers.
The second card I made included Spunky and was very different to the first. A lot brighter and I coloured the image on my computer in  my Paint Shop Pro programme and just touched up some areas with my pencils. I used Spellbinders Dies and an Anna Griffin embossing folder, so there you have 2 cards from me this week.

Thanks for visiting

Circular easel card

I decided to finish off some odd pieces I have lying around. This image was printed onto parchment paper quite a while ago. It is from a Japanese Dover book.
Here is how I made the card. Using a semi square piercing tool from Pergamano I perforated around the border. The background of the image was made using the new PCA  Extra Fine Lace mesh size 2. Once that was done I did some embossing and then coloured the fans on the back with oil pastels. To finish the card off I cut the circle out and adhered it to a pink Spellbinders scalloped circle die cut. I then used my Grand Calibur Scalloped Circles to make the base card and adhered the Parchment circle to that. I cut a Spellbinders Fleur De Lis motif and adhered that to the inside with foam tape. Using my stash of parchment flowers and leaves I finished off the card.

I have not put a sentiment on the card yet, not sure who it is going to go to.
