Getting ahead of the season

Making Christmas cards in a heat wave. I must admit I prefer the winter time as I seem to have lots more energy, so I suppose I should then make all my Christmas cards then. I seem to have started earlier this year than I usually do and to date have made about 30 of the 120 cards I make every year. don't panic I am not going to post those all on here today. I never have a theme though every year I say I will try to stick to theme, but, honestly I get bored making more than 2 cards the same, so each one is different. I have tried to fish out stamps I haven't used in a while so here are a couple of cards from my old rubber stamps.
The rubber stamp is an old PSX stamp which I have coloured using Aqua-Markers.
The die cut is from Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles.

This second card is a rubber stamp from Stamps Happen Inc called the Snow Animals. The background is stamped with the Jumbo Snowflakes from Stampendous. Die cut is Labels Four from Spellbinders. The image is coloured with  Letraset ProMarkers.
I do hope these have given you some inspiration to take out those old rubber stamps and give them some new life

Oh Yea Christmas card time

Time to start on those Christmas cards. Every year I promise myself I will have them all done by mid November, might manage this year.
Thought I would kick off with a KennyK image called Stud Santa. I have done multiple layering with this one. Coloured with ProMarkers. I am entering this card in the KennyK's Krafty Krew challenge- casing Louises' card.

Stepping out of my comfort zone

Little baby steps into different type of card for me. I love KennyK's images so decided to enter his Steam-punk challenge. Do I even know what Steam-punk really is lol ......I googled it and saw some amazing styles and fashions. Well I went online bought me a Kenny K Steam-punk image, they are gorgeous by the way. I made an easel style card and coloured the image twice to layer it, die-cut some clock dies, foiled sections on the backing paper. Oh well I tried ha ha. Here is the finished project.

I am entering this card into the Challenge
