Digital stamping meets Old School Parchment

I haven't made a parchment card in ages, so decided to combine one of my favourite digital stamps (Kenny K of course) with old school parchment work. By old school I mean placing the parchment over the paper pattern with tape and perforating through the parchment and the paper just the way I was first taught, before all the grids became fashionable. I must admit I cheated a bit by printing the image onto the parchment but that is because I don't think my tracing skills would do the image justice. I used Faber Castell Polychromos pencils to colour from the back and front. The cut work border was from an old Pergamano Christmas pattern C18. The snowflake punches are from various punches and dies I have.

Devil Woman

Halloween is just around the corner, and I usually make at least one card for this time of year. I have used a Kenny K digi once again. Coloured her with ProMarkers and used my paper and ribbon stash. I have also used the spellbinders Resplendent rectangles. I am entering this card in the KennyK Anything goes challenge, and the Passion for ProMarkers "Spooky" challenge.

Happy Card making Day

A very productive day for me. I have managed to get 8 Christmas cards done. Hubby left me to my card making while he did the normal Saturday chores ha ha.
I won't bore you with all the cards. Three of them have the same main image just used differently. The one I want to share is a House Mouse stamp which I have coloured with ProMarkers (of course) and will enter it into the Passion for ProMarkers Challenge 218 - Lots of legs

My Version of Shabby Chic

What is Vintage Shabby Chic? Whimsey Stamps blog is having a Vintage Shabby Chic challenge so having done a quick Google search, a Pinterest search, this is what I came up with.
I have used a Sara Kay Wedding couple stamp, which I stamped onto parchment paper.I coloured the hair, flowers and his suit with pencils and markers, her dressed I embossed lightly from the back. Using a Pergamano grid I made a frame with cut work and embossing. I adhered the parchment to a piece of pastel rainbow paper with tiny brads. I then set about preparing the gate fold card, using paper flowers and doilies from my stash. Inside I used a spellbinders die cut.
Well I hope you like my interpretation of  Vintage shabby Chic.
