21st Birthday Card

My youngest daughter turns 21 this week and all her life she has identified with the Little Mermaid, so I thought her card should reflect her dreams. I have used 3 different mermaid images from a toddler, a young girl and of course a young woman. I have coloured all three with Promarkers and used dies and other bits and bobs for the finishing touches.

No Line Colouring

For today's post I pulled out my Polychomas pencils and worked on parchment paper over a rubber stamp. I wanted the effect of a line free image and used the pencils to layer and shade. Here are 2 cards I have made. The first is an old favourite my PSX Hibiscus stamp.

The second card is an image I found so printed it off and using the same technique coloured it.
For both cards I added some Parchment work.

Spellbinders Inspiration

Today's project was inspired by a Video on the Spellbinders blog.
A lovely lantern using Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic rectangles Large. I added some embossing to the white card stock and some Parchment work to the vellum windows. Here is the link to the video https://www.spellbinderspaperarts.com/blog/video-tutorials-victorian-garden-lantern
