Some parchment work

A very good friend is having a special birthday this week so I thought I would put my very rusty parchment skills to work.
The pattern is one from the May 2012 Parchment Craft magazine and was designed by Dorothy Holness.
This is a pretty basic design with no cut work tho you could add your own if the mood grabs you. I have added some punched flowers and a coloured backing sheet rather than colour the parchment with Dorso crayons. I do hope she will like this card as it was made with lots of love, and I am sorry not to be able to share her day with her.
