Using embossing folders in Parchment work

Had a lovely weekend in Connecticut visiting friends. My first taste of wine made in this state,I was impressed.
Then traveled onto New Jersey where we stayed and commuted into New York, what a pleasure not having to drive in the traffic.Whilst on my wandering thru the streets of New York I came across a wonderful rubber stamp shop called The Ink Pad. Wow just my kind of place, loads of stamps and also found a fabulous embossing folder from Darice called Henna.
My card today is made from this folder. I place a piece of heavy parchment into the folder and ran it thru my Cuttlebug. The first pass was ok but I sent it thru a second time. Once I was happy with it I proceeded to work it as a parchment card with some dry embossing and perforating. Once all the perforating was done I cut the sections out and put the parchment onto some red hand made paper and attached it to a white card. This is a lovely folder and works well on parchment.

  1. Wow. That's is really pretty. Never thought about using embossing folders. But... I don't have any folders that are that pretty. Going to have to check into that folder.
