Stampin Up Demonstrator in training

I have just recently signed on as a SU demonstrator. How much actual demonstrating I will be doing is anyone's guess? I do like their products and as I am primarily a Parchment crafter it will be a challenge for me to incorporate them into my paper crafting. So to kick off I used the Lift me Up stamp set. Using VersaMagic Cloud White I stamped the large balloon onto translucent parchment paper. I left the ink to dry completely before I started dry embossing from the back. I did some perforating on the front to cut sections of the image away. Once that was done I embossed and pricked a couple of borders around it. A pretty simple card and quick by Parching standards. I have layered it on some shimmery navy blue card and then on rainbow paper and a navy card base.
The second card is a round easel card. Followed the same basic rules but added some colour to the back with oil pastel. I did no perforating on the balloon and added pencil colour lightly on the front. Using a product called Sticky Ink from Pergamano I added some glitter to the balloon. The textured background is from ParchCraft Australia.Well I hope you like the cards and will come back again soon to see what else I have managed to create.
