Blue Lace Butterfly

I used a Inkadikadoo stamp for this card. Using the memento dew drops I dabbed different shades of blue on the stamp. The sentiment is from a Hampton Art clear stamp set.The background is made using a Tim Holz stencil.

Hoping for Summer

I attended a Stampin Up workshop and one of the cards we made was this cute seaside theme card. The stamps are from the "Day at the Beach" set. I have stamped with versamark onto Kraft card and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I then coloured the images with the Stampin Up Water Colour pencils. Very quick and easy.

Short and sweet post.

Change of medium today. Digital image from Faeryink. I have used ProMarkers to colour her and added some sparkle with glitter and gel pens. The sentiment was from a freebie in a magazine. I have printed up loads of images now just to sit down and colour.

Beautiful You (Stampin Up) on Parchment

I fell in love with this stamp set when it came out. The stamps are simple sketchy type images and look great just stamped, water coloured and even paper pieced. I wanted to try them on parchment. Out came my trusty Staz On white ink pad ( had to re-ink tho). Stamped all 3 images on separate pieces of parchment, left them to dry while I looked out my grids and templates. The first one is backed by a shimmery navy blue card stock with Stamp In Up Delicate Details bordering the parchment. I kept this one pretty simple in white with dry embossing. The second one I coloured with the new Stampin Up watercolour pencils, using the dry technique. Added some lace work and embossing to finish it off. Hope you like these. I am still working on the third image so watch this space.

Stampin Up Card Box bag

I wanted to make a gift of cards for a friend. This You Tube video was a great find https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUyi7yhPkPE
I used Stampin Up Moroccan Designer series paper and Island Indigo card stock. I made 10 cards using various stamps and die cuts. The card box bag is pretty simple to make and very sturdy.

Thanks to LeeAnn Greff for the inspiration.

Flowers on Parchment

I have used the no line technique for these 2 flowers on Parchment. The Rose has some added grid work and the Tulip a border traced in white and gold gel pens. Both flowers are coloured with Polychromas pencils and layered onto bright backing paper.

Stampin Up Demonstrator in training

I have just recently signed on as a SU demonstrator. How much actual demonstrating I will be doing is anyone's guess? I do like their products and as I am primarily a Parchment crafter it will be a challenge for me to incorporate them into my paper crafting. So to kick off I used the Lift me Up stamp set. Using VersaMagic Cloud White I stamped the large balloon onto translucent parchment paper. I left the ink to dry completely before I started dry embossing from the back. I did some perforating on the front to cut sections of the image away. Once that was done I embossed and pricked a couple of borders around it. A pretty simple card and quick by Parching standards. I have layered it on some shimmery navy blue card and then on rainbow paper and a navy card base.
The second card is a round easel card. Followed the same basic rules but added some colour to the back with oil pastel. I did no perforating on the balloon and added pencil colour lightly on the front. Using a product called Sticky Ink from Pergamano I added some glitter to the balloon. The textured background is from ParchCraft Australia.Well I hope you like the cards and will come back again soon to see what else I have managed to create.
